In 2015, Lidwien Michiels received an Award of Excellence at the Little Treasures 2015 exhibition organised by Trevisan International Art (TIA) in Bologna, Italy.
The solo exhibitions in Peru were covered by leading Peruvian news media such as Televisión Panamericana, Radioprogramas del Perú and the newspaper La República. One of the paintings of Lidwien Michiels belongs to the permanent collection of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Arequipa.
